itching is a sign.. and a lot of times you discover that you have one right after your period is finished. Thats what has happened to me anyway. Also, i never began to get bacterial vaginosis until i started to have anal sex or any kind of anal play. I haven’t gotten one in a while since i have made sure to keep myself extremely clean especially before sex and made it very clear to my partner that he needs to be careful to not let any bacteria get near my vagina. This may not be your case though. But the only prescription that has ever worked for me in clindesse. Its a one does applicator that clears it up right away. So basically you get bv when the balances of bacteria are thrown off in your vagina. Other things can cause it too. I think i had abut 4 or 5 of those last year. NOT FUN.

Itching and burning in the vaginal area. You may have a temperature as with any infection.

Any type of infection can really bring you down. Some people feel bad for months before they even know they have an infection.

when the guy tells you to put your pants back on it’s a pretty good sign.

Normally the Vagina contains a good type of bacteria, called lactobacilli and anaerobes, but when there are too many anaerobes it can cause an infection. The signs and symptoms are obviously the fish-like odor more prominent after intercouse, discharge that can range from excessively grayish to yellow. Also burning when urinating in or around the vagina. Treatment is important if you suspect this cause it can lead to Pelvic inflammatory disease or Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) is an infection that can affect a woman’s uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes, which carry eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. Having BV increases the risk of getting PID after a surgical procedure, such as a hysterectomy or an abortion. Also, higher risk of getting other STDs. Having BV can increase the chances of getting other STDs, such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, and HIV. It can be treated with a simple course of antibiotics called Flagyl. You should see your doc. if you suspect this. Good Luck!
