I hate getting bacterial vaginosis. It’s a headache to deal with. I feel miserable, frustrated, and helpless whenever I get BV. And that’s why I had to find some home remedies for bacterial vaginosis. I wanted to know how to cure BV without having to keep going to the doctor every other month for antibiotics. Read More...

Hi, my name is Louise Endago

Many hundreds of thousands of women suffer from bacterial vaginosis symptoms all around the world. Most women who suffer from BV end up getting the condition over and over again despite going to their doctor for antibiotics.

Bacterial vaginosis can ruin your life, and I really feel for anyone who has to put up with it.

I went to one doctor after another about my BV for 3 whole years. I went through a huge range of different antibiotics, be they creams, tablets or capsules..

The antibiotics usually helped for a number of weeks, but my condition would always return. I asked every doctor I saw whether there was any other way I could treat my BV, but they all told me there wasn’t. I was told by many of my doctors that there is something wrong with the condition of my vagina, and that I would simply have to live on antibiotics, possibly for the rest of my life.

But I really couldn’t see myself going on much longer with this condition.

My husband started to get suspicious about why I was staying away from him. When my husband did eventually find out about my BV, I still had a hard time getting close in bed. I was also shying away from public, not going out with my friends as much, and keeping myself indoors all the time.

#1 Guide for Dealing with BV :

BVcure.com - The #1 natural treatment guide for women
who suffer from bacterial vaginosis.

My BV symptoms were about to have me beaten. I had almost had enough and was close to being ready to give up.

So I decided to get out there and take things into my own hands. I left everything in my life behind and for 3 years I went out there and started to search for an alternative cure for my BV.

I spent all of my savings for 10 years on different remedies that promised to cure my BV. I travelled to different countries to meet experts who had claimed to have cured BV permanently in hundreds of different women.

I was amazed by how many different treatments there were for BV. All of these treatments (well the working ones anyway) worked differently from antibiotics, in that they would treat the root cause of bacterial vaginosis by focusing on the environment inside the vagina to get rid of your symptoms of bacterial vaginosis..

The bad overgrown bacteria that you get in BV have no chance of surviving, and are killed off completely when you change the vaginal environment. Changing the vaginal environment doesn’t just kill off the bad bacteria. It also encourages the good bacteria inside your vagina to grow back and take over. When this happens the bad bacteria have no chance of coming back and your condition is effectively cured, as long as you don’t tamper with the subtle chemical balance inside your vagina again.

When dark brown discharge vaginal is present, it could be a sign of infection caused by Human Papilloma virus (HPV).

I get bv after just about every period and I am tired of throwing my money away to the doctor for him to tell me something that I already know. I’ve been taking the acidophilus capsules for over a week now and they don’t seem to work. I ran across Rephresh which is suppose to balance the ph balance in the vagina. I was wondering has anyone used this for bv and did it actually work?

Ok so in 2006 I had what I thought was vaginal warts and/or herpes because I had these itching burning pimple like bumps in my vagina that never went away.

Stupidly I waited to get them checked out and when I did I had a pelvis and vaginal exam preformed and I was told that not only was it NOT an STD, but I had bacterial vaginosis/vaginitis and a yeast infection going on at the same time.

The doctor explained that the bumps were caused by irritation from the yeast infection. Well unfortuantely I suffered from BV up until the middle of 2007 because it just kept coming back. I read that its an infection that just won’t stop.

Well now its come back, but I have no insurance. Medi-Cal has denied me and all the free clinics will want a co-pay even if I have no income. Are there any at home remedies to ease this pain?

I am prone to getting bacteria infections. I will take Flagyl pills for 10 days and it will clear up only to come right back in 2 months. I know its not sex, because I have went months without sex & I will still get them. I always wipe myself with wet tissue to clean my bottom & vagina thoroughly after using the bathroom. I dont do anything to cause it to keep coming back, but yet it always does. I get sick of going to the doctor 4-6 times a year for the same thing. I felt like they werent letting me in on a secret because they want to make money. What can I do to stop reoccurences? I do have an extremely moist & warm climate down there. I think that has a lot to do with it because that is a good environment for bacteria to grow.

I have been having a burning feeling inside the inner labia just under the clitoris. It sometimes looks a little red and sometimes it does not. I recently took Diflucan and that didn’t help. Now I am noticing a slightly thick, milky discharge. I’m starting to wonder if it could be bacterial vaginosis. Would BV cause burning in the clitoral area without causing burning in and around the vagina?

My case is a mild one and doctor said bv isnt sexually trasmitted and has to do with the vagina's defense system perturbation. I'm not a nympho or anything but due to work i havent slept with my boyfriend for 10 days now, i have a ten days therapy and after that i'm going to have my period! do you think it's medically accepted for me to sllep with my bf now or it will set back the treatment?

I was just treated for bv about a month ago, and it had started out with intense itching followed by abnormal discharge and foul fishy smell. So I know what the symptoms are. But just now I just noticed a fishy smell again, not as intense but still there. I dont know if during certain times of the menstrual cycle the vagina has different kinds of smells, or if this fishy smell is an early sign that my bv has returned.

I am soooo tired of getting that "can of catfood" odor about me every few months! I am CLEAN! I wash up several times a day! I wear cotton undies during the day. I don't wear undies at all at night, except during Aunt Flow visists. I drink a lot of water. I eat my veggies. You would think with using anti-bacterial soap to wash up, I wouldn't have this problem! I've been getting more bv than candida since I got pregnant with my now 5 year old daughter.
IT IS DISGUSTING! WHAT can I do, besides what I am already doing, to prevent the delicate balance of my vagina from going kerflooee!?
BTW, I am going to the doc tomorrow to get yet another prescrip for Flagil.
If you answer in a smart@$$y way, you will be reported. I am a grown woman with a genuine concern.
