It's a matter of your "bad" bacteria being out of control, so it's not like something foreign is in there wreaking havoc. It's just an imbalance of the bacteria that are natural. Not really an "infection" the way we think of it. If you also happen to have a yeast infection, that's a different story. He can catch that. I read in a couple of other places online that it's best to wait until after the treatment is over to have sex because your vagina needs time for the PH to balance out.
