Does any other female ever get reoccurring bacteria infections??? Like BActeria vaginosis?
Seems that I can not get rid and stay rid of it…my stomach feels like it has this poison inside it, and in the mornings it hurts so severely! I have used metronidazole pills and the clindamycin cream… but it comes back constantly, and it is itchy and uncomfortable!

i beleive you are either not taking the meds long enough to get rid of it, or you are having sex with the same person without a condom. if your having sex at all, you should be using a condom. go back to the doc and find out if you are taking the meds right or if there is something else stronger he/she can put you on. goodluck.
Try drinking lots of water, when I say lots I mean alot!! You will be peeing alot but, after a couple of days you’ll feel better. I had same problem till i quit going to doctors because they kept saying that’s what it was, but meds didn’t help. I sleep with no underwear, wear loose clothes (whenever possible) keep my area dry, eat yogurts, drink alot of water, and I sometimes still have problems. Are you sure it’s not yeast or something else. I also use Rephresh gel, they sell at walmart, when it starts to feel funny down there i put that and it feels better. It’s supposed to balance your PH. Hope this helps, God Bless
your vagina is unbalanced. it has a high ph balance. semen, soaps, douching and tight clothing breed bad bacteria. you need to be treated and talk to an Dr about using a probiotic like lactobacillus (google it)
I’m going to guess that you are having intercourse with someone who is infected and hasn’t been treated. Or are not properly sterilizing anything that might be inserted into your vagina. …
BUT first of all, have you been to a doctor and had everything/ anything else ruled out? I wasn’t aware that vaginosis caused severe abdominal pain. Usually just itching and burning. How long have you had these recurring episodes?
Get your partner to the doctor too and get them treated, go to the doctor yourself and rule out anything else, and refrain from all sexual relations with other people until you get your balance back. And always wash your hands, (and anyone else’s hands/ things that might come in contact) before allowing them near your personal areas.
I have been dealing with yeast and bacterial vaginosis every month for over 4 years.
I am finally getting relief.
I have tried soooo many different things from natural remedies to antibiotic pills, cremes, and gels.
Antibiotics just seem to keep the cycle going by killing off your good bacteria and fighter cells, leaving one infection just to start up another infection.
Medicinal Douching (with herbs) is recommended, but the influx of that much water just seems to make it worse for me, so I apply small amounts with a Q-tip.
Here are things that made drastic differences for me
for both bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections:
***All of these are diluted w/purified water and applied internally to the vagina with a Q-tip***
I keep the diluted mixes in the fridge in new/clean jars or glass bottles with lids.
-Apple cider vinegar (diluted)
alternating with applying acidophillus powder mixed with water (from a capsule- $10 for 90 capsules) Try Primadophilus Nature’s Way brand or Multidophilus from Solaray
and/or
-Tea Tree oil (one drop is strong enough when diluted w/water)
alternating with applying acidophillus powder
and/or
- Hydrogen peroxide (diluted or full strength). Hydrogen peroxide is naturally produced in the vagina as part of the cleaning process, and acidophilus is a naturally present health helper in the vagina
and/or
-Yin Care Herbal Wash, cheapest on: taoofherbs.com
and/or
-Chien Chin Chih Tai Wan, Great Wall brand of Chinese herbs in pill form
-Acupuncture has helped a great deal in combination with the all of the above
Emotional stress makes my symptoms worse.
Cut back on sugar, as this taxes the immune system and also feeds yeast cells.
Bulk up your immune system on a regular basis with Vitamin C, Folic acid, and a good brand of Acidophilus (I prefer Nature’s Way Brand PRIMADOPHILUS)
BEST ONE SO FAR FOR YEAST: RAINBOW LIGHT Brand CANDIDA CLEANSE, taken first thing in the morning EVERY DAY to ensure best absorption on an empty stomach
I use the Rainbow Light in conjunction with
Enzymedica Brand “Virastop” or their “Candidase”
Here are some more sites, with the same cures, but more details:

Oh! But your stomach “feeling like there’s a poison inside it” would not be from the BV.
That could be from something else entirely, but it could very likely be related to taking a lot of antibiotics,
Definition of the word BIOTIC:
1. Of or having to do with life or living organisms.
2. Produced or caused by living organisms.
[Probably Greek bitikos, from bitos, life, from bioun, to live, from bios, life)
So, ANTI-biotics, do what? Kill off living organisms.
Your intestines have millions of living organisms inside them, some good and some bad.
Antibiotics will kill your helpful friendly bacteria, which hurts your immune system.
PRO-biotics are such things as acidolphilus, etc. that when taken regularly will rebuild your system.
Also, a gentle intestinal cleanser such as psyllium fiber can help to clean out your digestive system if it is blocked. I always take psyllium with a lot of water when I have digestive upsets.
I have been getting Bacterial Infections for years now. I am also one of women who gets a yeast infection EVERYTIME I take antibiotics. So one infection to another for me!! How irritating!! I noticed that the BV would always reoccur after having sex with my long term partner. I mean it’s like I can literally tell the second I get it. I repeatedly told my Gyno that I believed it was coming from him, he told me that it did not make a difference if the man was treated, that they have researched this and it made no difference. I WAS NOT CONVINCED!!! DR or not, I did not buy it. So after suffering from this for literally years… I finally got a physician to provide him with anitbiotics. I have not had onesince!!! Although I have never used “Rephresh”, I have heard that it is effective in balancing your PH levels out and prevents the reoccuring infections. It seems alot more women are getting them these days. I think it is because men are not aware of this and pass it along without knowing. Hopefully there will be more research and testing done in the very near future so we can eliminate this problem!!!
