should subside? I just completed a 7 day round for bacterial vaginosis (which my dr told me is common in pregnancy) and the symptoms are better but not completly gone. Anyone know if they should be completly gone by now?

I have been through three rounds of Flagyl which is an antibiotic for bacterial vaginal infections. I usually noticed a change in the foul odor and the heavier discharge around day 5 of the 7 day treatment. Remember, antibiotics work best when you take them on a regular schedule so it may just not be finished working. I would have the doctor recheck you to see if the infection is gone.
Not a physic or a doctor.
I would say they probably should be, or at least almost completely cleared up. You might need a second round of meds….if symptoms are still there after a couple of days, give the dr’s office a call.
