You can use garlic, plain yogurt, or take folic acid and tracheal pills. There are a lot of other things that you can do to naturall cure bacterial vaginosis.

I read a blog earlier that gave other natural cures. I’ll leave a link to the blog below.

hope this helps…

Take a superior brand of colloidal silver both internally by mouth, and vaginally by coating a tampon with a combination of colloidal silver, a few drops of tea tree oil and either aloe vera gel or KY jelly. Insert it into the vagina and leaving for 30-40 minutes. Likewise, douches with colloidal silver and a few drops of tea tree oil can rid yeast infections and bacterial infections and keep them at bay.

An old time home remedy that might also help since lactobacillus has been effective against bacterial vaginosis is to dip a tampon in a container of organic non-sweetened yogurt that contains active cultures of lactobacillus, then insert it into the vagina and leave for 30-40 minutes.

You are right not to want to use antibiotics. They can do way more harm than good. I was taking flagyl, but i had some pretty bad reactions to that. I read a good article about bv on goarticles.com. I am going to try to cure my bv naturally too. This may give you some good advice. Here is the link. http://www.goarticles.com/cgi-bin/showa.cgi?C=1820036

BV is actually happened because of the imbalance state of "good" and "bad" bacteria in the vagina. The use of antibiotics could even kill more of "good" bacteria. That’s why BV reoccurs, and this condition also allows the vagina to be more susceptible for the yeast infection to grow.

For more info, there are reports that a lot of women suffering from bacterial vaginosis (BV) and using antibiotics’ treatment would experience either recurrent of BV or yeast infection not long after their antibiotics’ treatment.

There are other BV natural cures and remedies available such as taking acidophilus, folic acid, probiotic etc. Bacterial vaginosis natural cures strengthen the good bacteria so that it can maintain the proper balance of microorganisms in the vagina. When antibiotics aim at killing the bacteria, natural cure remedy focuses on building the immune system so that the body can heal the condition naturally.

BV natural treatment seems to give better result with less side effects. Many women who once suffered from BV, had recommended natural treatment instead of antibiotics treatment to get relief from BV.

While on bacterial vaginosis treatment period, you also need to stay away from other things like douching, smoking, or using colored/ perfumed soaps and tampons, and avoiding sex, to get a better relief.

Good luck…

Having sex with an orgasm helped me instantly don’t be afraid. I’ve tried the home remedies i found online and even paid the website so i could find out. These are the things i’ve tried and did not work for me, T tree oil, apple vinegar, those live culture pills, kefir (live culture yogurt). I even gotmeds from the doctor, it helped until it came back but i can’t go see the doc and get prescription everytime.

I’ve tried water/peroxide douches (more water than peroxide). It was the only thing that worked for me after battling BV for over a year. My obgyn says that it is okay for me to do this as needed. I did go to my general practitioner for a wellness check up and found my vitamin d levels to be extremely low. I started taking the recommended amt of vitamin d and now I don’t even have to do the water/peroxide douche! I feel so liberated!!!
