Try probiotics. You may already know that vaginitis is usually caused by an imbalance of the natural vaginal flora. And you may already know that antibiotic use can create an imbalance. Try replacing the flora.

Another way that has helped women is the use of boric acid. You can either purchase boric acid capsule ready-made or make your own. If you opt to make your own, you’ll need powdered boric acid. You can buy it over-the-counter. Use hollow gelatin capsules (which may be purchased at a health food store) and fill them with boric acid. Then, you carefully insert one capsule into your vagina at bedtime for a 2 week period.

Also look for other reasons why you can’t resolve this. Maybe your partner is reinfecting you. Maybe you wear an IUD. Maybe you need a different antibiotic. Maybe you need to be cultured to find out exactly what organism is behind this.

I had dealt with embarrassing BV symptoms for years, until I found the website BVCures ( http://www.bit.ly/46NVE ). I was skeptical when they claimed I would be symptom free within 3 days, but after just 2 days I felt like a new woman. Hopefully their program can help you too! Best of luck.

There are reports that a lot of women suffering from bacterial vaginosis (BV) and using antibiotics’ treatment would experience either recurrent of BV or yeast infection not long after their antibiotics’ treatment.

BV is actually happened because of the imbalance state of "good" and "bad" bacteria in the vagina. The use of antibiotics could even kill more of "good" bacteria. That’s why BV reoccurs, and this condition also allows the vagina to be more susceptible for the yeast infection to grow.

There are other BV treatment options to be used, either natural treatments or any other remedies, such as tea tree oil, acidophilus, probiotic etc. Many women had reported to get better relief from BV by using those remedies.
